Curbing the caps of energy consumption and carbon emission is of great importance in mitigating global climate change. In fact, the energy/emission intensity control is becoming growingly popular in recent years. Besides the production-side control, how to fundamentally reduce the aggregate embodied energy and emission intensities from the consumption side has attracted increasing attention. This talk will discuss the framework of aggregate embodied energy and emission intensities, review the features and development trends, and their applications at the national, regional and global scales.
主讲人简介
苏斌是新加坡国立大学能源研究所资深研究员，能源与环境研究中心主任，能源系统建模团队负责人，同时担任新加坡节能和低碳路径发展研究项目总负责人。主要研究领域为能源和环境经济与政策、能源与气候变化、能源环境系统建模和分析，在能源和环境相关的国际期刊上已发表SCI/SSCI论文140多篇，研究工作被引用10000多次，连续五年(2018-2022)入选科睿唯安“全球高被引科学家” (2018年“交叉领域”，2019-2022年“经济与商业”)，连续四年(2019-2022)入选斯坦福大学研究团队发布的“全球前2%顶尖科学家”(能源领域)，连续两年(2021-2022)入选全球知名经济学研究数据库RePEC/IDEAS发布的全球前1%经济学家，连续两年(2021-2022)入选Research.Com网站发布的“全球前1%科学家”( 经济与金融领域)。现任Energy Economics (SSCI) 期刊副主编，多个国际期刊的客座主编、副主编和编委，以及110多个国际期刊审稿人，在新加坡主持和参与三十多项能源环境相关的研究项目。
